PHP Login Script Update - new MySQL installer - 11th January, 2012

A new install folder has been added to the script to make installation of the script easier and faster when used with a MySQL database. Simply upload the script to your website and browse to the install folder. You'll need your database details at hand. The instructions have been updated to reflect the new change. PHP Login Script Updates - 4th January, 2012

Happy New Year to you all - there have been some minor updates already to the PHP Login Script including the additional option to delete a user from the admin panel. I have also cleaned up the code a little. I will continue to update the script and keep you up to date on the progress.

Thanks to the dedication and hard work of a guy named Tony and some of Tony's cronies over at tonymacx86.com it's possible to build your own Mac Mini (Or Hackintosh) for half the price and with much better spec.

A Hackintosh is a computer running Mac OS X but built with unsupported hardware. The idea of running Mac OS X on a unsupported system has been around for some time and it has been possible for a while to get the Mac OS running as a virtual machine on your Windows machine.

But the Hackintosh Mac Mini is a system built from scratch with parts that (with a few tweaks) can run the Mac OS X software better than the actual Mac Mini itself.

PHP Login Script Version 3 - 21st December, 2011

Angry Frog has been working on updating and amending the ever popular but dated 'Login Script with Admin Features' created by Jpmaster77. The original script still receives many downloads and comments (as well as plaudits) each day at its original home on the Evolt website here but it has become dated due mainly to new PHP versions and security updates and considerations.

Angry Frog's upated login script- PHP Login Script Version 3 is now available in beta phase to download. It is still very much work in progress but it will work out of the box and can be dropped on to any existing website that can run PHP 5 or above with a little bit of tweaking. The old script required MySQL, this new one will allow you to work with a multitude of databases (including MySQL) thanks to PHP's new PDO Object as of PHP version 5.1. Apart from many code and security updtes, it also has a new back-end administration feature where you can view, edit and delete users plus make site-wide changes such as turning admin or e-mail activation on or off.

Football Prediction League Script - 20th December, 2011

Do you run a football / soccer based website, maybe a team fanzine website and wish to run a prediction league for your team maybe offering cash prizes for the winner(s)?

The Millwall Prediction League is run off the back of the website http://www.prediction-league.co.uk. It is a php / MySQL based script that scores points to users based solely on the their prediction on the score of Millwall's league games. It has run for many years and been developed to be user friendly to both the predictee and the administrator.
